Test Care Prof training

This course has been developed both for existing Help Points, and those interested in setting one up.  Participants will learn more about Playlist for Life, so they can further support the people in their area to use personal music.

“[We] took away a lot of useful information and built up our confidence in what we might be able to do at our Help Point. There were a great many useful ideas exchanged over the day so it was very worthwhile…we are very thankful for all the support you have provided.”

Who should attend?

Existing Help Point volunteers who want to develop their skills and knowledge, so they can provide better support and activities in their area. Places are also available for organisations interested in becoming a Help Point. To become a Help Point your organisation must meet certain criteria. What will I learn?

By the end of the day’s course participants will:

  • Have learned and practised ‘Music Detective’ skills to find the right music for an individual
  • Explore different ways of playing the music
  • Have started to think about potential links with care homes and volunteers

If you are unable to attend this course, please contact us to register your interest and let us know your location so that we can take this into consideration when planning future dates.
